With Jessica in tow, Bill and Sookie head to Dallas to carry out Eric’s vampire-reconnaissance mission – but a surprise awaits them at the airport. At the Light of Day Institute, Jason falls victim to a practical joke, but has the last laugh when the Newlins anoint him for a higher calling. Maryann throws a birthday party for Tara, attracting much of Bon Temps to its Bacchanalian revelry. Sam postpones his departure from town to attend the bash, connecting with Daphne in the process.

True Blood “Shake and Fingerpop” Sneak Peek #3 Eric and Bill

In Sneak Peek #3 (above) we’ve got Eric and Bill discussing “Godric” whom I believe is Eric’s maker–though he has yet to reveal that to Bill. If I recall this is at least the second time he’s proclaimed that Godric is 1000 years-old, mighty, and since he appears to have been “taken” that “no (vampire) is safe.”
The Bill-Eric dynamic is growing on me as they seem to be growing on one another. Frenemies perhaps? Bill was quite effusive when assessing Eric’s recent new haircut and did not hesitate to seek Eric’s help in saving Sookie after she was attacked by the “bull-headed thing.”
