Yep. It _does_ hinge on 'Sookie'-Anna Paquin to keep the True Blood anchored. It's a dream cast so I'm pretty sure they make it easy for her to do. Yes about Terry and Arlene.

It might make the characters more interesting. Alfre Woodard is a good choice for Lafayette's mom. Both strong actors that will play well off each other. I can't wait to see who they cast as Alcide the were, and how well thay handle his shifts on screen. Alan Ball has picked some great actors for the show and I hope it continues with Alcide. But it all comes down to Sookie and the cast of characters that will vie for her affection now that Bill is missing.
