True Blood – What Happens After Episode 7, “Hitting The Ground”? SPOILERS

Sookie and Alcide in the future or did one of them dream this up?

Based on the preview below for episodes 7-12 (it is mislabeled as clip 2 for Episode 7. It is not as the video poster explained). I’ve got a few questions, maybe some ideas. Just a short couple tonight–because trust me,they are juicy, Then a batch tomorrow and caps more from the episode 6.

We can pretty well tell that things go very badly for Sookie (bad to worse would seem an apt description) in episode 7, Hitting The Ground.” SPOILER!!!
Sookie lives.

Bill feels very badly that he almost killed her while delirious from his own near death at the hands of Lorena and the V-addicted wolves, he attacks Sookie and feeds from her greedily. His fault or not? Or was she as Tara suggested, out of her mind to have barreled in to “save” him.

SPOILER. Of course James Frain continues as Franklin Mott. Did you see his body crumple up and turn to goo? You did not. Tara can be forgiven for not knowing that you cannot beat a vamp to death if you ain’t going to stake them or completely sever their heads.Tara “only” smashed Franklin’s already-addled brains in. Sookie would.

Trouble

Sookie and Alcide turn to an alpha-wolf “packmaster” for advice on how to deal with Russell’s minions. Jason meets his match in a mysterious girl named Crystal. Tara considers a proposal from Franklin, who’s completed his mission for Russell. Lafayette learns the meaning of patience from Jesus, his mother’s orderly. An heirloom reminds Eric of his past and his ongoing thirst for vengeance. Joe Lee breaks his promise to Sam and Tommy.

The way True Blood vamps can die...you can sever their head clean off...

You can set them afire as they sleep (or stake them with a beer tap)

Staking is messy tho'--just ask Sookie

Crosses have zero effect but silver burns--tho' not to death

Bill was forced to make Jessica after he staked Longshadow (above). He drained her of human blood, had her ingest his--then they went to ground together for one day.

Makers all. clockwise. The King of Mississippi, Lorena, Bill's maker, The Magister, The Queen of Louisiana

The "child (Eric) is very close to his/her maker (Godric)

The maker is stronger than the child as vampires grow stronger and gain other powers as they age

Vampires CAN be seen in mirrors and they can telepathically summon their children (Pam is Eric's sire)

Jessica being only weeks old is called a "baby vamp." Hoyt was her human boyfriend. Bill, her maker is trying to teach her not to feed on humans but instead drink Tru Blood

Now that Sookie the telepath/part faerie/human has ingested Eric's (full vampire) blood accidentally both she and he are more aware of one another's emotions and have a sexual attraction. The same holds true for anyone ingesting vamp blood.

Season 3 has proved a turning point in Sookie & Eric’s relationship. Despite her Season 2 declaration prior to being tricked into ingesting his blood that she’d “rather have cancer” than have him “grow on her,” as he suggested, both Sookie and Eric have softened significantly toward one another. Their body language speaks for itself. Included too are some atmospheric shots of the cemetery and Sookie’s home from the outside. True Blood – 3×03 – “It Hurts Me Too” (HBO Copyright)

A series of unfortunate encounters in this episode.
Jessica gets blackmailed by Franklin Mott with the head he has ripped off the corpse of the guy she accidentally killed while feeding on him.
Eric takes a bullet in saving Sookie from an attack by a were. Eric goes on to nearly rip the uncooperative were’s head off.
Finally, Franklin Mott gets it on with Tara after assisting her (he held a guy while she beat his face in) her in a drunken brawl in Merlotte’s parking lot. I have no idea why she went to a cheap motel with him and hooked up other than Tara is the most eff’ed up human (other than her mother) on the show.

Is it me or is the prop department going a bit more chunky in it’s simulated bloody gore?

9 Crimes Synopsis

Sookie joins Alcide at a raucous engagement party for his former fiancee, Debbie Pelt. Bill “procures” dinner for Russell and Lorena. Sam brokers a deal with Tommy and his parents. Andy gets a promotion and draws Jason’s attention. Arlene is irked by Jessica’s arrival at Merlotte’s. Eric is given a deadline to locate Bill. Franklin takes Tara on a road trip.

Q: What’s the deal with Sam’s little brother on True Blood?

….Tommy Mickens is harmless—in the sociopath, crazy-person sorta way! Marshall Allman, aka Sam’s little bro Tommy, is in it for the long haul this season, “bringing Bon Temps to its knees.” “I go in and have a lot of fun,” Marshall tells us. “There’s not an impulse that I don’t act on. I’m tons of fun. And then I’ll take your wallet, [and] I’ll also steal your girl.” …

Q:

Marshall tells us he’ll be around well into the “shocking” season finale…but don’t judge( him) too quickly. “People will see that I have a heart, but they’re just going to be frustrated that I’m not being who I was meant to be,” he says, “I suffered a lot of dysfunction, and I just need a lot of love.” Sources have also revealed that Tommy might be working to EDIT/ I have posted a photo of Tommy at Merlotte’s, wearing a black Merlotte’s T-shirt/end Edit/ so Tommy will be working for Sam at Merlotte’s (My guess? To repay Sam).

Q: What’s coming up for Tara on True Blood?

That depends on your definition of good. Rutina Wesley tells us our ever-troubled bartender “is gonna struggle with this vampire lover named Franklin Mott. He’s very psychological and very hard. So this relationship is not necessarily by choice.” Probably not your definition of good, huh? One thing you don’t have to worry about? Tara becoming a vamp herself. “Probably not,” she says. “I love being human. It’s like I’m one of the only humans on the show!”

Scroll past the text to see the rest of the sequence. It’s brutal and funny because it’ s Lorena who actually raped Bill first about 140 years ago.

Is it me or did Bill swear once that the only circumstances he would have sex with Lorena again would be to rape her?

So he would never “love” her but would violate her under circumstances TBD? and now he’s in those circumstances.

Just a couple of random thought s and info before I put up that awful/funny Bill rapes Lorena, which she likes then Bill wrings Lorena’s neck and she likes that even more. Lorena, I think we can agree, is a very sick puppy.

My spouse told me of a news blurb today about a lady that finally got her spouse to watch an episode of True Blood with her. It was this week’s episode, ” It Hurts Me Too” with the were chomping on Eric and Eric returning the favour, the aftermath of Lorena afire and of course the rape and neck-twisting. True Blood was “too much” for him and he thinks she’s awful to like the show. I say she may need reevaluate to whom she’s married (j/k — or am I?)

I screen-capped a ton of things for this episode. I’d say the quality of the screen shots is fair. (I judge pretty harshly.) The photo collages are so-so but they show the sequences of Bill and Lorena interacting–and the hugely black humour beneath that interaction. They are an interesting pair, to say the least.

I watched True Blood’s 27th offering for the second time tonight. I really liked it. The dialogue was very,very good. The pacing seems good. I sort of hate that Tara is so effed up, though. Sookie’s life is effed up, too but at least Sookie gets to travel and stare at Eric.

Also in my capping I noticed that both actors– Alexander Skarsgård as Eric and Anna Paquin as Sookie are playing off one another as if the walls are down and they’re in “like.” She must have given him the flirty little tilt of the head as well as smiled and borderline flirted with Eric at least several times. He in turn made bedroom eyes at her and remained in his killer-charming mode. How could any women resist what Eric brings?

Lovely to make the acquaintance of Alcide Herveaux, a “good” werewolf sent by Eric to protect Sookie whilst Bill is missing. Here’s Joe Manganiello (as Alcide) without a shirt. Yes, Please.

Poor bill. No matter what he says or does he simply cannot win with Lorena. She always one-ups him.
